Kayla Dumont
Registered Physiotherapy, MSc PT, B.E.P.S

Kayla Dumont is a graduate from the University of Ottawa holding a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy. Prior to this, she obtained her Bachelors Degree in Physical Health and Education with a specialization in Health Promotion at Laurentian University. Kayla is very excited serve Northern Ontario, where she plans to give back to the community of Sudbury, one that has fostered so many opportunities contributing to her journey and growth as a health care professional.
Kayla has gained experience while working with various varsity athletes competing in basketball, lacrosse as well as in football. She has obtained the knowledge necessary to assess and treat various musculoskeletal injuries as well as their potential neurological implications. Kayla will gladly address any aches and pains regardless of their sources of onset. By means of manual therapy, modalities as well as home exercise prescription, she will gladly work with you in order to optimize your recovery. Kayla has supplementary training in acupuncture and manual therapy through the Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute and the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She is very eager to help improve your overall function, diminish pain levels and in turn, boost your quality of life!
Kayla is a sessional lecturer at the School of Human Kinetics at Laurentian University. She continues to advance his practice through continuing education, taking on new concepts in managing musculoskeletal conditions.
Kayla is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, the Ontario Physiotherapy Association and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
